Summary

Jason Statham (/ˈsteɪθəm/; born 26 July 1967) is an English actor, film producer, and former model. Typecast as the antihero, he is known for his action-thriller roles and portraying tough, irredeemable, and machiavellian characters. Throughout his film career, Statham has regularly performed his own stage combat and stunts.

Born in Derbyshire, England, he began practicing kung fu, kickboxing and karate recreationally in his youth while working at local market stalls. An avid footballer and diver, he was tapped by Britain's national diving team to compete in the 1990 Commonwealth Games. Shortly after, he was asked to model for French Connection, Tommy Hilfiger, and Levis in various advertising campaigns. Statham's past professional history working in market stalls inspired his casting in the Guy Ritchie crime films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000).

The commercial success of these films led him to star as Frank Martin in The Transporter trilogy (2002–08). After starring in a variety of heist and thriller films such as The Italian Job (2003), Crank (2006), War (2007), The Bank Job (2008), The Mechanic (2011), Spy (2015), and Mechanic: Resurrection (2016), he established himself as a leading actor in Hollywood. He would find further commercial success in the action series The Expendables (2010–14) and the Fast and the Furious franchise. His character in the latter, Deckard Shaw, would be featured in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), and more recently is set to reprise in a spin-off, Hobbs and Shaw (2019).

His career as an actor and producer has been criticized for lacking depth and variety, however he has also been praised for leading the 2000s and 2010s action movie resurgences. According to a BBC News report, his film career from 2002 to 2017 generated an estimated US$1.5 billion (£1.1 billion) in ticket-sales, making him one of the movie industry's most bankable stars. Statham's impact on the British and American film industries is the subject of an ongoing academic study by Leeds Beckett University due to finish in late 2018.

This is how I view Jason Statham:
At first, he did action movies. He was great at it, he was tough, he was one of the heroes.

     

Then, he got handsome and starred at action drama movie. He didn't really get a partner but he's tough.

     

He tried to become a villain too. However, he still has this good character inside. I guess it's his strategy to get a nice life partner.

He even tried Asian girl.

Finally, he jumped off the cliff. He couldn't stand it anymore he's got insane. Now, he's a badass annoying insane hero.

It's hilarious because no fish can swim backwards.

But it's the right thing to do; to slowly back away before love goes deeper. He belongs to someone else, so it's too risky.

I see that it's using electric guitar, and there's a sound of drums in it too. However, it still maintains the sound of flute and guitar as its main ingredients. I'm discussing this song because the lyric captures my attention. Let's talk about the lyric instead.

I think this is a very interesting combination though, because she combines the slow tunes with how proud and happy she is. It's showing a unique taste, where you feel happy, yet you share your happiness calmly to everyone.

It gives this spark, annoying feeling towards the singer. Yet, I found myself humming along with the singer too, smiling with my own unique smug face. It's like I too, am spreading the word that I too, have attracted a rich guy. Calmly.

Regardless of whether or not we're mentally sane, it's very hard to find someone who'd trust us, fight alongside us, and be there to witness everything when it happened.

It turned out our own partner might also take a step back, look at us in disbelief, and blame us for bringing that subject up. There are also some people who don't want to go the distance so they won't admit it's true.

That's when we feel so lonely in this world. I think that it's fine that way. If you try to look deeper into yourself, make do with whatever is given, being alone isn't always a bad thing.
